A park in a natural setting
Description
A hidden gem park in the heart of the city
In the heart of the city, this park's renovation includes the creation of a swimming pool and the redesign of the entrance on a site with complex topography. The existing wisteria at the entrance is relocated and preserved throughout the construction work to allow truck access. Special care is given to the transition between indoor and outdoor spaces, through a sandblasted concrete staircase of rare lightness. The poolside areas combine wood, sandblasted concrete, and plants. They offer a secluded space to the north and wide-open views of the Alps to the south.
