Alpine charm and modern design
The reorganization of the entire floor—bringing together the kitchen, dining room, and living room—was the starting point for the full renovation of this four-level apartment. With a linear layout, the idea was to create flow between the three areas by playing with split levels, ceiling drops, and light. Nestled in a mountainous setting, the brief was to design a warm and cozy cocoon, with a distinctive ambiance blending mountain style and modernity. The kitchen was moved to recover the full length of the space and make it more welcoming. A thoughtful play of materials and depths in the furniture, enhanced by the lighting, helped create a balance between tradition and modern style, adding a touch of elegance. The central island, both functional and inviting, links the kitchen to the dining area and serves as a gathering point for family and friends. The wooden flooring provides unity to the whole space.
