This complete renovation is guided by the recovery of lost attic space to create a new upper floor, and by opening the living areas onto the garden. The simplicity of the materials and the balance of volumes lend the house a distinctive charm. The kitchen is relocated to the heart of the home, creating a seamless connection with the garden. The central staircase links the basement to the first floor and becomes a key architectural feature. Sliding pocket doors disappear into the walls, allowing for full openings onto the garden. Each room opens to the outside and follows the rhythm of the seasons. This discreet project is defined by intimacy and serenity.
