Heritage and contemporary design
Two eras coexist in this beautiful 1930s villa, perched on the mountainous foothills of the Grenoble basin. The renovation of the ground floor has made it possible to connect the kitchen, dining room, and living room by creating wide openings in the load-bearing walls. The kitchen links to the entrance hall through a printed and laminated glass screen, echoing the patterns of art deco wallpaper, and is organized around a central island. The dining and living areas now open directly to the garden and the new pool via an atypical sandblasted concrete staircase.
