D6 – Feasibility Study Summary – Elevation and Renovation of Apartments in Paris 15th
The project involves renovating an existing building and adding an additional floor through elevation, in a dense and highly sought-after neighborhood of the 15th arrondissement. Context: traditional building requiring modernization (comfort, energy performance), with land potential allowing an elevation in accordance with the PLU. Program: Renovation of existing apartments: thermal comfort, space redistribution, modernization of finishes. Creation of an additional floor for new apartments. Harmonious architectural integration with the urban environment. Challenges: compliance with the PLU and building volume, potential structural reinforcement, safety and accessibility standards. Conclusion: The study confirms the feasibility of this project, which enhances the built heritage while creating new apartments. It contributes to the renewal of Paris’s housing stock and meets the high residential demand in the 15th arrondissement.
