Description
Integration of natural materials and unique landscaping.
Blending water and vegetation, this exceptional park recomposition project involves reflecting on the existing ponds, composed of a swimming pool and a landscaped pond, at the heart of a French formal garden. Thus, both ponds as well as the pool decks will be constructed in natural stone. The natural spring feeding the site will be diverted during the works to ensure optimal working conditions. New plantings of tall trees accompany the stone walls and structure the pathways. A private place of memory, this park represents an exceptional landscape heritage. The need for a specific approach that considers the living nature of the materials and their extreme fragility makes this garden a remarkable place where the beauty of the layouts and proportions harmoniously combine with natural effects.
