D1 Feasibility Study – Rehabilitation of a 16th-Century Building in Tarascon, a French commune located at the western end of the Bouches-du-Rhône department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.
The project aims to rehabilitate a historic 16th-century building in Tarascon, set in an exceptional location at the foot of the Alpilles. The study highlights: The remarkable heritage and geographic value of the site. Strong development potential due to the proximity of prestigious hotels, positioning the project within a complementary high-end offering. Usable spaces (ground floor, first and second floors) allowing for various layouts: reception, dining, wellness, and accommodation. Programmatic orientations integrating heritage enhancement, comfort services (SPA, swimming pool, restaurant), and attractive activities (cultural, event-based, and tourist). The need to comply with the regulatory framework of the PLU and heritage constraints. The study confirms the feasibility of transforming this historic building into a prestigious venue that combines historical identity with current high-end hospitality standards. It anticipates the creation of a STECAL registered in the PLU, pending approval from the local authorities.
