D5 – Feasibility Study Summary – Office Building Development in Montbonnot Saint-Martin (Isère)
The project involves the construction of an office building on a plot in the Pré-Millet business area, currently occupied by a parking lot. Program: Ground floor: entrance hall, elevator, stairs, integrated parking. Floors 1 to 3: office floors and activity spaces. Floor 4: panoramic terrace with glass railings and wooden decking. 46 parking spaces planned + 7 for the neighboring building; waste room at the property boundary. Architecture: Dark gray concrete structure (RAL 1043) with steel crown. Continuous glazed facades, edge-to-edge glass for uniformity. Glass slab cladding with printed patterns inspired by natural themes. Frameless glass railings providing transparency and lightness. Landscape Integration: planting of two large trees and local shrub areas, reinforcing the site’s natural setting. Conclusion: The study confirms the feasibility of a contemporary, sober, and high-quality office building that fits into the architectural continuity of the site. This project combines functionality, durability, and elegance, and serves as a benchmark for the Pré-Millet area.
